Where has a large variety of quality shoes in London? I'm used to giant American shoe stores w/ tons of selection!

I think our shoe selection is pretty poor, it's so very samey. A trip to Berlin last year had me drooling at all the lovely shoes and boots and gasp they weren't all the ubiquitous heeled ankle boots or riding boots either!

Depends on your price range... I like the area between Carnaby Street and Marble Arch. Start with shoe shops along Carnaby St and Liberty's, on to Bond Street (New and Old), Sth Molton Street, Louboutin on Mount Street, up to Selfridges. If you can't find anything within that range (?!) I don'tknow what you're looking for Grin Bit of a trek to be fair.

Selfridges

Meant to say, if it's just one place you want to go, prob Selfridges, high street to high end there.

Thanks for the suggestion! Just checked out selfridge's online and it does look like they have a pretty good range

The Selfridges shoe gallery is the biz. If I'm in London, I call in to see what they've got because they have a massive range.
