I can't shop for the figure I've got!

Because in my head I'm 2 sizes smaller.
I can't seem to accept that I'm a flabby, cake-obsessed size 16.

I'm not doing anything about it because I love food and hate exercise, so why why why can I not just accept that this is the shape and size I will be indefinitely?

Does anyone else live in cloud cuckoo world with regard to sizes?

oh yes ! 100% I am always tramautised when I look back on old pictures and fail to recognise the fat bird in the too tight or ugly clothes! Whats that all about!
I am 5'0 and a 12/14 on top and a 10 on bottom. In my mirror I am a size 6 and all the clothese are just smaller made now.
The result is a distinct muffin top !

I am trying to do something about it but this means changing diet ! I exercise but for me it is more food !

Not really sure I have helped here but just wanted to empathise !

Dont accept it.

Run fat bitch Run!

It changed my mind, my shape and my wardrobe permanently.

Haha thanks silver I probably do need a kicking really. I used to run, but have developed a list of excuses a mile long not to start up again. Soooo many excuses.

Yep I have this problem! I have always been pear shaped and in my twenties I was SO good at shopping for my figure- wide leg or bootcut trousers to hide the thunder thighs, skimpy tops with halternecks to show off the flat stomach and bony shoulders, wrapover tips etc.

Two kids later alas the flat stomach is no more and my shape is more an apple perched on top of a pear Sad. I tend to go for baggy tops and leggings as all of a sudden my legs have gone from my worst feature to my best- and that's not saying much!

It's so very grim :(
