Apparently, you shouldn't put fake tan on straight after the shower - you should wait a bit - so the skin is a bit more acid ph - apparently this is best.

Make sure you have put body lotion on your dry bits e.g. elbows/knees.

Also, make sure you know where some nail varnish remover is. If you find you have got dark patches on knuckes etc - nail varnish is fab for getting rid - I know from experience!
