My undereye circles have gone... need to share!

Well, not gone but unbelievably reduced thanks to an old post where someone recommended Ben Nye Blue Neutraliser, also worth checking makeupalley reviews.
I got mine off ebay (about £10 plus postage, but it is a large pot and you only need a tiny amount, will last me ages) well worth a go if you are plagued like I have been since my teens with dark circles. I have over the years tried countless products, which all seem to give me grey rings!

That's it really just wanted to share, I keep looking in different lights to see it again! I have put it under my foundation by the way.

Oooo shall check it out!!

lurkingaround · 29/01/2014 15:33

Is it a concealer?

Isthisme · 29/01/2014 16:14

It is what I believe is a 'corrector' this range seems to be stage make up! so not marketed like normal concealers, it is quite orangy, don't let that put you off though. I am very pale and I went for shade NB-1, I think there are only 2 shades though, so in some ways that makes it easier as I was buying without trying -I just went for the lightest of the 2 shades. I applied a smallish amount with a lip brush sized brush then my normal make up on top.

I am so impressed can you tell! hope someone else has good results too.

Sounds fab! Just developed really black shadows underneath my eyes

and in the corners. If you watch any makeup tutorials on You tube they

always say go for peachy/orangey tones for under eyes as the light

shades make the circles grey. Will give it a go!

eastdulwichbedwetter · 29/01/2014 18:10

it was me. Glad it worked

ocelot41 · 29/01/2014 18:33

RonaldMcDonald · 29/01/2014 20:44

Mmm I got the same sort of thing from Victoria's Secret a few years ago. A really salmon orange made the under eye colour disappear completely
It's almost finished so I'll try this

January I've just bought mine off Ebay....

HaveYouHeardOfGoogle · 29/01/2014 21:03

No NB1 left on that ebay listing Hmm

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 29/01/2014 21:06

I find Benefit Lemon Aid really good both for under eye circles and lower lids to counteract redness there, also good as a primer for eyeshadow.

Only1scoop · 29/01/2014 21:06

HaveHmm I ordered the number 2 as I'm normally a medium tone....are you really fair?

HaveYouHeardOfGoogle · 29/01/2014 21:18

Yeah, almost see through except for the eye bags courtesy of DS

They sold out of the lighter one but I went for the colour wheel one which includes both shades . Hope that will be ok . eBay that is just a few pounds extra than the single one.

LittleBabyPigsus · 29/01/2014 23:49

NYX £6 concealer jar comes in orange - use the yellow one if your circles are more purple than blue.

Skinfood salmon concealer is great although shipping from Korea takes ages.

Sofasofasofa · 30/01/2014 00:13

Hmmm on the Ben NYE stuff, what do you think would be better for undereyes? There is one calledfive O'Sharp beard cover which "conceals blue-black beard shadows with these speciality cover-ups. May be applied beneath or over foundation tone. Also effective at concealing deep discolourations, including black-eyes or intense under eye discolouration"

Or would the blue neutralizer be better that covers blue-heud discolourations, such as veins, tattoos, bruises and deep under-eye circles?

Both are available on eBay for £10.99 plus £3 p&p, decisions decisions

Isthisme · 30/01/2014 09:05

sofa, the exact one I ordered was Ben Nye"Media Professional Concealer/Neutraliser" in NB-1, so, in summary that second one you mention. Hope that helps!

I can't find this on ebay (probably sold out thanks to your post!) or anywhere else! Shame, it looks amazing
