Knitted henley dress. Hush or Howies?

Please help me decide. I'm a 5'2" size 10 pear, with a bf DS (hence the need for buttons) if that helps.

I like the Hush, but I am no style icon

I'm wearing the Hush one as I type. I am 5'10" size 8 and have the small size and it's about 6 or 7" above my knee.

Have accidentally washed it on an ordinary 40 degree cycle in the washing machine and it's come out fine so that's what I do now. Dries easily too.

Hmm, two votes for hush. But I think I'm leaning towards the howies one because it's merino and looks cosy. Is the hush one warm?

I like both, but what swings it is the hush one is machine washable (says mother of a dd that is very pukey and likely to 'get' me at some point on most days...)

I'd go for the Howies on the basis that I gave some Howies merino tops that must be getting on for ten years old and look great after loads of use, and I have had some right tatt from Hush.

I have always washed merino in an ordinary 30 wash, no probs.

Hush one is not especially warm but that suits me as I layer it with a t-shirt and if necessary cardi.

T-shirt could be tricky if breastfeeding though.

I wouldn't go for the hush one as my Henley dress loses shape very quickly due to high cotton content - baggy bum is not attractive.

I like both. Prefer the colour of the Hush one but I love Howies for quality.

I've seen the Howies one in the shop, have to say it's a bit of a slim fit, the grey is also very wishy washy.. I prefer the burgundy colour in Hush.

That was my initial position Tulip.

I could put a tie belt on if it's awful without. Or more likely a belted cardigan given we haven't had february and march yet.

I love the Hush one( have 3)because the material is really comfortable and washes really well.Merino wool is really itchy and I can't wear it on its own.So for breastfeeding purposes where you need to feel comfy and relaxed I would go for the Hush one.
