Next Adults clothes - pants/ trousers/jeans - a question?????

The size that you are, is Next alot smaller? eg ive got a size 14 3/4 pants - gorgeous pants bought off a friend, and im a size 14 but it feels like a 12 and i find that with other Next bottoms too

Sorry to say so but I always find them a bit bigger. I'm a size 10 but usually have to get an 8 from Next in their bottoms dept. The tops are ok for me though.

It seems to vary hugely depending on style. I have a couple of size 12 trousers - some fit better than others. I also have a size 10 Next skirt. Usually its the waist I have problems with (must have a size 12 bum & size 10 waist!)

I'm normally a size 10/12 but mainly wear a 12. I think it varies within Next as I have a pair of full length linen trousers from there in a 10 (the 12's just fell down) but had to get a 12 in the 3/4 linen trousers.

It is sooo annoying that you can't just pick up the size you think you are and it fits :S

I also find that skirts tend to be more generous.

i always find next ladies&mens clothes smaller but kids bigger

yes scooby - my DD who is 21 mnths old and got the height of a 2.3 yrs old but the 2 -3 yrs are massive on her and the legs are so long!

i think, as someone here has said, that it varies on the style.

I am at the moment fitting some size 8's and some size 10's but would never be able to say that I am a full size with either (IYGWIM?).

for instant....I bought sz 10 cropped jeans before hols that now fall off me, so went and got some sz 8's instead. feeling all proud and vain, went out to find some more 8's.

soon came down to earth.......three pairs fitted lovely, 6 prs didn't. and for the tops, same again. depends on how fitted/stretchy they are.

sooooo......always best to try....you could be pleasantly flattered or come away feeling rather not.
