I'm 40 next month and have arranged a special girls afternoon thing. We're having afternoon tea at a naice London hotel but I'm at a loss on what to wear. Two children have done me in and I don't make much effort at all. I usually wear skinny jeans, top and boots if I'm going out but need something more special for this.
I'm 5'11", size 12/14 with usual baby related podge round waist although I'm trying to lose a couple of pounds before the big day. Reasonably straight up and down figure, not pear or apple shaped. Any ideas?
