For a Mess function. It has to be long, no splits above knee level and not completely strapless. Where can someone of my height get such a thing!

Try Next Tall online. I have had to cut the bottom off their maxi dresses as too long...I am 6 feet.

I have had a look at Next, good suggestion but can't see anything suitable. I have jsut looked at Long tall sally and saw a nice japanese rose print dress, but I have had issues wth the length of their maxi dresses before i.e not being long

A few of the high street places do tall, dorothy perkins etc but it's hit and miss same with mayo and zara

Next tall is too short for my 34" legs. Know you're asking for a dress but that does seem to imply that they don't know nuffink about tall people.

I'm 6ft too and always hire from wish want wear for functions. Their dresses come up nice and long

That's a good point, baukjen dresses are very long.

Thanks everyone but the CMC has changed the womens dress code now to cocktail dresses! So now to look for one of those - below the knee.

Its stupid changing it, if tis classed as formal it shoudl be mess dress for DH and long for me.

Long tall sally maybe can be frumpy but you have to sort through the crap. And you might find a gem
