styling leather look panneled treggings

Seen lots in the shops like these and wondering how to pull them off in a casual way. Anyone got any suggestions of how to style them so I could wear them in the day/knocking about with the kids? Oh.. and would you/could you wear them to work (not smart, but relatively conservative)

My friend had a pair on last week she wore a little pair of black converse with them but hers were the side panel ones, with a little teeshirt top

cool, I've got some dark grey trainers...Might have some long line tops that might be suitable too

I really wanted to wear my casually so I went on to pinterest for some ideas.

My fave is a denim shirt and cream cable knit jumper and black ankle boots.
