It's the L'oreal sublime tinted gel.

I am stunned. It goes on really evenly and gives you an instant shimmery tan and then without an hour you get a lovely even tan.

You cannot go wrong with this product as it is tinted and you can see the bits you have missed. I now have lovely brown legs

Do other fake tanners find that after tanning, their legs are covered in tiny dark dots, as though the tan as taken particularly well in each pore or hair hole? Or is it just me?

Blossomhill · 30/07/2006 18:49

schnapps ~ i think some people have more poreous skin so maybe that's why? I don't tend to find that it happens to me

after months of having tans done professionally and using every brand of daily build-up tans then I bought Boots own make soltan self tan the other day - it is BOGOF at the mo, about £7, you can get one called shimmer which is as u described - u can see where u've been and it leaves u with an instant tan as well as developing into a wear-off one

I think the key is to exfoliate in the bath, moisturise dry bits then apply plenty - most people I know who dnt put on enough get streaks. HTH

i might have to give a bash.

heavenis · 30/07/2006 20:45

Blossomhill, read your thread the other day. I'm glad you have found one that works. You should work for the companies giving them feedback for the product.

Blossomhill · 30/07/2006 21:35

Laura ~ thanks but I think dh would go mad if he saw another bottle in my bathroom (maybe next year? )

mandymoo ~ yep I am fairly pale and it def. works.

exapt ~ I swear no streaks, I am amazed

heavenis ~ I should shouldn't I ?

I just cannot be bothered to roast in the sun when I can get the same result from a bottle lol
