Can anyone help me find a great top for my new jeans?

I recently bought some very flattering jeans. They are bootcut and a blue-black colour.

I'm going out with some friends soon and would love a top to wear with my new jeans.

I am unfortunately a short, apple shaped size 18 on top.

Has anyone any suggestions? I've been in dresses and tunics and leggings so long I've forgotten how to shop for anything else.

Budget is £50 or under.

I love asymmetrical tops that don't give waist /top definition. Try the Spanish/Italian brands/ I love them and think they flatter all figures like Desigual. Our market sells those long raggy tops with handkerchief hems in gorge muted greys, blues and olives. I think you get my drift. Fitted tops might make you look bigger than you are.
