Oh pants. My DIY hair-dye went wrong.

My hair was chestnut brown.

I tried to dye it dark blonde.

It is now ginger.

Ginger is good though! I deliberately dyed my hair ginger today.

Dye it with a permanent light ash toned brown. It will help counteract the dayglo and when it washes out will start to look like a dark blonde. You don't have to worry about it turning green because you have retained enough warmth.

Could I just try the same colour again over the top?

Tbh it hadn't even occurred to me that I might turn it green.
