Confused about clarins beauty flash balm

Been given som beauty flash balm for Christmas. Am confused about were this fits into my beauty routine.
I usually use serum, moisturiser, bbcream, followed by a little bit of translucent mineral power. Sometime I skip the moisturiser is skin in good condition but usually it is a bit too dry to just use the bb cream. I don't use foundation generally.
Where would the flash balm fit into this? Does it replace the bbcream?
Do I still need moisturiser? and would I use that before or after the flash balm?

It works best when you're run down or hungover ime. I've got dry skin so I'd use it over a thin moisturiser, in your case I'd use it as a primer before the cc cream.

But lots of people don't get on with it at all.

Get a teeny tiny bit on your hand. Mix with foundation. Quickly slap on.

It's a primer. It was around before primers were 'in' but it's still essentially, a primer. Put it on after moisturiser and before foundation. Don't rub it in though as it breaks down and turns into little beads/balls in your face. Just sort of massage it over your skin but don't over-work it.

CC cream is just a type of foundation. Just a light type. Use it before that.
