Any recommendations for a really nice foundation please ...

Am using a Bobbi Brown one at present and like it but it's my third bottle of it, some time for a change.

Thinking Laura Mercier or MAC ... anyone use these? What do you think? Have read loads (on Mumsnet of course) about Chanel's new foundation but last time I bought one of theirs, I hated it.

Humour me please!!

forgot to say it is the Bobbi Brown foundation stick I use which provides a bit more coverage without looking too much.

Thanks Incy - have heard a lot of good things about Dermalogica products. I think I'll have a look at their website and then perhaps go into Selfridges and speak to someone there on the Dermalogica counter.

My skin was terrible as a teenager (was on antibiotics etc. for it) but cleared up completely when I started taking the Pill. Consequently I stayed on the Pill for about 15 years - dreaded coming off it to TTC to be honest! Skin stayed fine for 6 months then the dreaded spots reappeared all over my back. Since becoming pregnant skin has been pretty bad (DH says it's nowhere near as bad as I think it is though) although it does seem to have got a bit better in the last few days (fingers crossed!)

I currently use Nivea Visage facial wash (gentle), then Clinique Dramatically Different moisuriser. I've used these for years and skin has been fine. Perhaps now I'm pregnant I've become more sensitive to some products so need to rethink my routine.

I got bullied a lot at school because of my skin and getting spots again now has taken me right back there. I've suffered with hang-ups about my appearance ever since my teens and don't want this to blight my pregnancy!

Oh, and I use the Bobbi Brown foundation stick as well - I use Clinique Almost Make-Up, then use the foundation stick just on areas that need a little more coverage. It works pretty well.
