Reasonable priced high waisted skinny jeans to hide post baby flab?

I gave birth 8 weeks ago and have been left with a flabby stomach that results in a muffin top when I get into my old jeans.

Are there any reasonably priced jeans around that are high waisted to hide away the fat?
Don't want to spend too much until my body weight is more stable.

"Cora" jeans from Phase Eight

Molly from river island come up high and are stretchy too and very reasonable. I also have 'Joni' from top shop and are high but not as stretchy. Hope that helps! And congratsSmile

Thanks I like the M&S ones (due to price!) but my phone is playing up and I can't select sizes on the river island or M&S website. I'll check on my laptop later.

I got some in the Dorothy Perkins online sale for about £17 - they are high waisted and super stretchy. Here they are.

I bought some specifically to hold in your tummy from Asda! Brilliant jeans! I have the same problem with mum tum......and he turned 18 last Spetember. Blush

BettyOff · 15/01/2014 08:37

The primark ones are great and about £13. That's what I had after DD until my size settled down again.

Dingleinthevillage · 15/01/2014 08:45

Please tell me she's 19!

The Next Lift, Slim and Shape ones are fab :tucksinbelly: lots of different styles

I've just bought the Dorothy Perkins skinnies which have a pretty big waist. They're the £15 ones or two pairs for £25 so you could get two styles if you wanted. I needed a smaller size in the straight leg than the skinnies.

These ASOS ones are £30 & you can choose the length as well as the waist. They also come in a variety of colours. They are very soft & fit down the leg almost like jeggings. I'm 5 weeks post baby & highly recommend!

I love Urban Outfitters skinnies and find that, although pricier at 40-50£, they age much better than DP or Gap. I hate Topshop jeans personally. Odd shape. I think the M&S ones look a bit square. Depends on your age. I must take a look at the Primark ones!

Dingle, that's not helping my optimism on losing the flab! But I've been left with a small pouch since dc1 so do think this extra flab may be a permanent feature now (hopefully not!).

Thanks for all the suggestions, I'm going to take a look later and might pop into town for a try on the Primark, Next and ASDA ones. I did actually buy the Next ones you suggested Boopear in the sales, but in a larger size (thought I was bigger than I was!) and then returned them. I liked the extra buttons on them, as it made everything feel more secure.

I got a pair of the DP high waisted skinnies - I think they are called Bailey. Very high waisted and incredibly comfy, I was surprised. Only twenty quid too. Flattering and I am rectangular shaped with a serious muffin top usually!
