I have 3 straps on show today, what do you make of that?

I am wearing pink bra with black bow on straps, and 2 speghetti strap vests. White underneath and lime (ish) green one on top. I think it looks lovely.

One of my older collegaues (in her 60's) told me in her day I'd hev been called a slapper and I should cover up.

Discuss.

I think coloured straps are nice and I am wearing them these hot days. You are not a slapper. Ask for a definition of slapper and then ask if she'd like to borrow your pink and black bra!!

now if that was me I'd have worn a white bra - three colours too many imo, and three colours with bows is complete overload.

Wouldn't say it was slapperish though.

I think it sounds quite fabulous.

No bras should be white, especially on women who've got kids. Far too mumsy.

Yes, white bras very mumsy. Except under white blouse for work, then it's OK.

But my office is not a blouse wearing type of office. We wear flip flops too , but today I have yellow kitten heel sling backs on.

detest white bras. even think should be flesh-coloured under white shirts.

sounds fab northerner. on me however, with it would look slapperish

White bras are ok only if they are truly white. Nothing looks worse than greyish straps under strappy tops. I agree colour is much nicer, if it is going to be on show one with colour and detail looks fab.

OK these plastic straps.

I have a bra that has these or plain nudey ones.

IT is a size 34G - the straps are NOT dainty, pretty/bows/lacey etc. They look like te things they tie round skips when lifting them back onto the lorry.

I accept that placcy straps are a bit naff, and sweaty too. But what do I do? I want to wear strappy tops in this weather. Can't expose the real straps on my bras, too chicken to go strapless even though have the bra to do this.

(Have bravissimo strappy top, so no one suggest this - at £32 a pop I'm only buying one this year>)

TIA for advice.
