Ok, honest opinions please - am I too old for this dress?

Bought this dress back in the summer for a night at a v camp nightclub.

Just going through my wardrobe doing a clearout and can't decide if I'm ever likely to wear it again. Am I a bit old for it at 35?

You look great in it, and no you are not too old.

sweetheart · 13/01/2014 15:51

Definitely not too old! it looks great, keep it!

SirChenjin · 13/01/2014 15:51

No - you look great in it Envy

Foxsticks · 13/01/2014 15:52

No! I'm 35 and if I had your figure I would wear it.

procrastinatingagain · 13/01/2014 15:53

35? You're in your prime!

ChinUpChestOut · 13/01/2014 15:53

Hell no! You've got a great figure and great legs, you can totally wear that dress!

It looks like it would work in the winter too - with opaque tights. Go for it, when you're 50 and you look back at yourself, you'll wonder why you were holding back….

YourMotherChucksRocksInHull · 13/01/2014 15:53

Ooh, thanks Blush

I just don't know that I'll wear it again...I'd never usually wear anything that short without tights, but as I say it was for a bit of a camp night out. I'm wondering if I can dress it down a bit with tights and boots or something..

You look great in the dress, don't get rid of it!

TheWomanTheyCallJayne · 13/01/2014 17:00

Another vote to keep

ExcuseTypos · 13/01/2014 17:03

I'm 47 and would wear that dress, so no you aren't too old. You look lovely in it.

LEMmingaround · 13/01/2014 17:11

Envy cow! Wink It looks great

MadBusLady · 13/01/2014 18:00

It looks fab. Am 35, would wear. And yes to opaque tights, boots and a slouchy cardigan in the winter.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 13/01/2014 19:24

It looks good. Is it black? Black opaques should be fine with it.

YourMotherChucksRocksInHull · 13/01/2014 19:33

It's actually kind of navy, very dark though...will try it with a cardigan and tights and see how I get on...it's quite short and tight when I sit down, though so I'm not sure how I'll get on with it, will try it though.

Nope. Not too old. You've a great figure. You could wear anything.

sharonosaurus · 13/01/2014 19:35

Gorgeous dress Smile you look fab!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 13/01/2014 19:35

Black tights and navy dress should be fine. Don't out a cardigan over it though! Grin

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 13/01/2014 19:35

put

YourMotherChucksRocksInHull · 13/01/2014 21:52

Ok, thanks all, will hang onto it for now.

Yet another vote for it. I'm older than you and would wear it. Go girl!

Lambzig · 14/01/2014 12:36

I am 46 and if I had your legs I would wear it as it's quite covering up top (resolves to start 30 day shred).

Grumpasaurus · 14/01/2014 12:51

I don't have your figure but would still wear it! Super cute. Pair it with casual earrings or a long necklace, a delicate bracelet, leggings and boots. If a cardigan, definitely a slouchy style that doesn't button, will look very chic. Or a cropped leather jacket, that would really work too.

Avenue57 · 14/01/2014 13:15

You should post your outfit looks on avenue57.com- we REALLY REALLY want more ladies posting their daily looks and this photo looks really good. Of course you are not too old for such a good dress - you look amazing!
