Comptoir des cottoniers anyone have opinions on quality?

Am thinking of buying one of their silk dresses. I don't know the brand price suggests it should be good quality but you never know! Has anyone seen any of their stuff recently? Online postage is massively expensive

I have a wool jumper with matching scarf I spotted in a charity shop from thembought 5 years ago - it's the best quality item of clothing I own. The wool is excellent handwash but holds shape- beautiful light knit. The cut of the jumper is also great - perfect length and neckline is a scoop but much better shape than youd normally get. Makes me wistful for better quality clothes.

Stunning dress! I got a gorgeous brown coat from a charity shop yesterday; it's in pristine condition and cost me 8 pounds!! Still can't believe my luck!

I buy from CdC and love their things. The cut/quality is excellent and their designs non-fashion (ie can be worn year on year without dating). The only thing I will say is that the sizing can be a little inconsistent - I have jackets in two different sizes which fit as though they were the same size (different designs). But I do love them and they'll last me years.

Yes only problem with them is the French sizing. If you're tall, it's not recommended by me to buy online. If you're petite or average, should be fine. Really great stuff. Love it!
