Affordable breastfeeding/jersey dress

I'm going to my best friends daughters baptism soon, and will be breastfeeding my 7 week old. Would like to wear a dress but live in jeans and baggy tops and vest tops at the moment.

I'm happy wearing a jersey wrap dress, but a proper breastfeeding dress would be better.

I have a very very tight budget.

I'm 5ft 9" and a size 10 I think.

Oops!
Have a look online at new look and next clearance. I'm sure i've seen suitable options on both sites in the last week.

Try the seraphine sale.

ethlinn · 12/01/2014 06:46

Try mamas and papas too. I lookes at their website and sale seems pretty good. But if you could nip to their shop, even better. I went into one yesterday and there was loads of stuff under £10 and under £20.

BikeRunSki · 12/01/2014 07:11

Bon Prix lots of possible options. Also wrap jumper dress in maternity section which could work for bf.

Bumbolina · 12/01/2014 08:29

Excellent! Thanks everyone, I'm off to google/shop. I'd completely forgotten that sales were on (shows how long it's been since I went shopping!).

I went to a wedding when I was breastfeeding and found Boden wrap tops a great option. I also bought one of their wrap maxi dresses for a summer wedding.

You can often get great sale bargains from Jojo Maman Bebe as well in their nursing section. I second Mamas and Papas sale too - would never pay full price for any of their clothes though!

I also have stuff from New Look.

HoneyDragon · 12/01/2014 13:05

H&M usually have nice ones for bf.

starlightloz · 12/01/2014 13:12

Mama Feels Good do brilliant breastfeeding clothes, not cheap as chips but great quality and do the job required really well. Might have a sale,I haven't looked for a while. Google their website.

starlightloz · 12/01/2014 13:27

Poo,just checked on Mamafeelsgood.com and they do have a sale on,dresses for £21.99 which seems a good deal to me.

starlightloz · 12/01/2014 15:16

Oh no,silly Kindle auto correct,I meant to say 'ooo' in my last post and most definitely not 'poo'!

Try Therapy wrap dresses from House of Fraser. I have a couple and they're so pretty!

Massively reduced under 20 pounds in sale.

Thanks everyone for your replies - I have searched through each of the suggested companies websites - but it was Hollyangels suggestion which found me a dress.

I'm not usually very impulsive when it comes to clothes, but having searched all day, I saw this one and ordered it immediately Grin

Hurrah! That dress would look great with some brightly coloured suede heels. Top Shop have some in their sale.
