Babyliss big hair has died - what else can I get?

Have had the BBH for a couple of years and liked it - I have a bit longer than chin length straight hair and it leaves it looking nice for a couple of days. I got it discounted and don't really want to pay full price for one (have got in touch with the manufacturers but as I don't have a receipt not really expecting anything).

Is there anything you can use on slightly damp hair that has a similar effect but costs less? I like how the BBH rotates but suppose that is part of what you are paying for with it :)

My bbh blew up this week and I emailed them. I had no receipt, they asked me for the batch number (etched on it) and from that they were able to see it was under 3 years and have said they will repair/ replace free of charge

In cases like this, I always say the item was a gift, hence no receipt (mainly cos I'm crap at keeping receipts). As Knakard says they should be able to tell by the serial no./batch no. when it was manufactured.

I'm so glad I read this thread as I have the same issue but can't remember if I got it from boots and no receipt! I noticed batch number on side, going to contact them. Thank you!!!!

Ah this sounds a bit more helpful :) hopefully the same will happen for me - will wait and see.

How quickly did you hear back from them Knakard and what email address did you use? I emailed on Thursday and have had a holding email back although am now concerned I may have used the wrong one.

Typically not long after I posted I got a reply from them and need to send it off now. Hopefully it will gone back either new or repaired at some point :)

New BBH has come today - am v impressed with thwir customer service :)
