Silk jumpsuit - possible for those with no waist...?

Bit drunk and 'window shopping' more than anything but saw this and love it (not that I can afford it.) However, it got me wondering if it 'is' possible for a size 16 with good legs and bum, but no waist and rounded tum , to look anything other than hideous in a silk jumpsuit...?

I can't imagine its tremendously flattering. Suspect it would cling to the bits you'd target hid and swamp good legs.

I just find the description of a jump suit as 'sexy' hilarious though.

The issue with jumpsuits and play suits is they make even Blake lively's arse look awful the rest of us have no hope.

ihatethecold · 11/01/2014 06:35

I would say no.
Hopefully you didn't make the purchase.
Only that model gets away with that outfit.
Us mere mortals just can't get away with such an outfit!

I think it's beautiful, the colour and the print but unless you are v v tall then no I don't think it would be flattering. Wonder if they do anything else in that print- off to look.

Thanks for your replies. It wasn't specifically that jumpsuit, or any really, it was just wishful thinking that someone who's not model shaped could look good in one.

Why not try one on and see. They are not easy to get right but you never know til you try. Generally they dont suit me but I found one last summer that really worked.

I'm not the biggest fan of jumpsuits. They seem to cover your best bits, or show them off less effectively than other garments would. The Temperley one is a nice colour, but you can do better.
