Do you still use a changing bag or have you switched to a big handbag

Was just wondering - our changing bag is doing my head in and I'd rather switch to a big handbag but can't seem to find one that's suitable.

Am I really doomed to live with the horrid changing bag (the one we have isn't really that bad as they go, but still...) or is there an alternative???

thanks in advance

I have always used a big handbag!

I use a big handbag now, can't be doing with lugging all that stuff around with me now. I just carry a couple of nappies and some wipes in my handbag and a bottle. Its bliss, although felt like I had forgotten something major (like forgetting to put me drawers on) when I first started doing this

I have been using a handbag for ages now. Sometimes a big one, other times a smaller one, depending on how much I need.

My top tip (must post on tips of the day thinking about it).

Get a free makeup pouch from a glossy women's mag.

Put 1-2 nappies, a pack of travel wipes and a couple of nappy sacks in it.

Put in large handbag.

Yes?

poisson · 26/07/2006 22:30

just use a handbag fgs

cg25 - no point in getting a changing bag with a 1yo. Why not look around the sales and get a nice summery basket or something cheap?

Big handbag - ditched the changing bag ages ago - most liberating I have to agree with cod there. Just nappies and wipes now though for us.

I just use my normal smallish handbag - very rarely take more than one nappy out with me now - ds seems to have 'strong skin' and can marinade in a soggy nappy for most of the day wihtout ill effect!
