Mid-calf boots - what to wear with?

Help!

I'm no good at making decisions about clothes/shoes.

I've ordered some mid-calf boots from Clarks sale

They are comfortable and look nice off, but not sure about the mid-calf-ness. What do you wear with them? I'm a size 10, 5'4" with legs in proportion.

Any suggestions? (They can still be returned!)

Blimey they're a bargain! I have those in brown from last year and wear them with jeans, skirts and dresses. They pretty much go with anything imo.

I have a couple of mid-calf boots and find them pretty wearable with most things. I tend to wear them with leggings or dresses.
