What to wear with this skirt?

I bought this a while ago but I'm rubbish at putting outfits together and end up wearing my jeans all the time. I'm looking for other options than skinny jeans, so hAve ordered a couple of skirts.

This is the skirt I have.
FC cord skirt

I have these boots and thought they might work but no idea about tights and top.
Tan boots

Help please! ??

Its a lovely skirt and the boots are nice too. What sort of top do you wear with skinny jeans? You could wear that skirt with any top - a jumper or top with cardigan would all be fine.

Tightwise the least scary look would be black tights and boots, or navy tights. I quite like grey tights and boots too. Not sure what colour I'd wear with those tan boots, probably brown.

Thanks, I usually wear jumpers, jersey tops with cardigans, nothing too exciting, just wondering about colours, as I see people with colours I wouldn't think to put together then try it and feel I look ridiculous!

If the skirt is navy blue it would look great with tan boots. Still not used to the ankle boots/short skirt combo but that is probably just me. I don't have great legs either.

I would go with grey tights with navy skirt and tan boots: navy or brown tights is too matchy matchy IMO. As long as it's all neutral it won't clash!
