Soooo... I have this Anglomania dress (sales bargain) and going on girls night out in London next week, drinks, food, hotel much too old and past it for clubs but what do I wear it with? I have these silly shoes but could I wear tights? Will i have blue blotchy legs in this weather if God forbid I go out without tights? Or high black ankle boots? Or pointy courts? Or..Or..Or...
Come to my rescue please!

Your dress is lovely. I think you will be blue with the cold in those sandals but they do suit the dress.
Am Envy of the lovely dress. how much was it and where did you buy?

It was £140 ( half price Grin ) in the sale at Liberty...I have been stalking it since September!
I fear you're right about the shoes/tights situ Sad

Love the dress. Shoes shoes shoes... I'm not a fan of open toes in the winter, but each to their own... I'd go for pointy court shoes - black with patterned sheer tights perhaps. Or nude tights if you're inclined, then you could always go for a different colour shoe. Have fun.

Ps do love those kg shoes too, just not in winter imho!

I have a similar anglomania dress in red but with vvv long sleeves. I love it, can dress it up or down. At this time of year looking warm and comfortable, looks better than damp (toes) and cold.

I would do tights, patterned, lacy or just opaque and, high black ankle boots. A smart coat and accessories to lift it.

I might be tempted with coloured tights, I have a nice red coat though... and then jewllery to tie it all together.
Or, keep it simple and a bit of subtle sparkle....
Or, lacy tights and statement jewellery and ankle boots (possibly channeling Dame Vivienne there! )

My friend popped in and saw the sandals and thinks they're lovely. I mentioned the cold and her point was well won't you be getting a taxi and in the hotel for the night and they're lovely and you should wear them. So there you are, another view.

Great bargain, I played chicken on a VW dress last year, and lost. Sadand still Envy of your bargain!

Pointy courts and tights.

Thanks all! Off for trying on session but think I'm definitely going to go for tights ( if just for the control top!)
