It is my DH?s birthday soon and I want to buy him cycling shoes that clip on. I know the model and style he wants and I know he is a size 10 in almost every type of boot and shoe. However, the sizes are 36 - 42. Does anyone know what a 10 is in these European (?) sizes?? I have looked on websites for conversion charts and got no-where.
Thanks

dh is an 8 in UK and wears a 42 European - are there really no larger sizes ?

Ask at a shoeshop?

Dh is a 46 which is an 11.

You say the shoes clip on so do they have to be a different size to normal shoes iyswim. Sorry but don't know anything about this type of shoe!

Does this help? Not sure it does, as it seems the sizes of the shoes you're looking at don't go up big enough.

  • I think I was looking at a range of women?s shoes!! No wonder I was confused.. what a dippy cow!

Thanks for those sizes - he must be a 44/45 then. Found a model that goes up to 48 which makes more sense. I will email the website to check the size to check but at least I have a rough idea now and won?t sound totally crazy It is either that or face dragging my kids round B+Q looking for power tools and don?t fancy that as weather is too hot and sticky (and I hate B+Q. If you ask for help choosing something they treat me like a total moron rather than someone wanting to know why one is £80 more than the other with no obv difference in function).
