DS needs to go in as the grand old duke of York next Monday. My idea was cheap tee/tunic with gold braiding sewn on cackhandedly

Just spent two and a half sodding hours looking round the shops. Nada. Help!

Gap normally do plain longsleeve tees in red but £££

How about a Baselayer from Go Outdoors? Nb other outdoor stores would do just as well

They have them in Primark in the girls section, pretty unisex though.

This might fail your definition of cheap but if you can't face the shops again it's a fall back.

H&M is usually good for plain cheap t-shirts for costumes.

Ebay usually have fruit of the loom long sleeved tops. Might not be quick enough postage for you though.

Got a fantastic one from Uniqlo before Christmas, really soft and substantial. Don't know if they still have them though.
