Women's fitted "geek" t-shirts?

DorisShutt · 07/01/2014 20:00

I'm on the hunt for "geek" t-shirts (Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, BBT etc) for my late teens niece.

But she is large of nork, and hates wearing the standard round neck t-shirts as they make her look huge, which she isn't.

So, does such thing exist as a woman's shaped "geek" t-shirt?

Have you tried ThinkGeek?

mrscumberbatch · 07/01/2014 20:05

Try Jinx uk. If I remember rightly think geek ships from US and is bloody expensive.

I got my Knights Who Say Ni Tshirt from jinx (amongst others). It's good quality, fitted but not too fitted for norktastic folk.

I just found the website Something Geeky and it has some nice cuts for women t-shirts. This one from Dr. Who appeals to me a lot.

I got my DD a different Rock Paper Scissors Lizard Spock from Café Press for xmas. They've got just about anything you can imagine on a range of products including women's T-shirts.

I might get my DD one out of this lot for her upcoming 15th birthday...

Play.com had loads before Christmas at fairly reasonable prices... Seach in clothing > women's > tshirts. Plenty are shaped and quite a few of them have a v neck.

This week is supposedly the last week of their sale so you might get a seasonal bargain and a festive geek Tshirt ready for next year (they had things like a space invader or skull wearing a Santa hat, along with the standard versions Grin.

HBO have a shop for GoT t-shirts - huge selection

50ShadesOfMaybe · 08/01/2014 08:53

This site http://daily.tshirtroundup.com gives a daily, constantly changing round up of geeky t-shirts from various suppliers, some in America, some in the UK. Most do them in womens cuts.

And most importantly, most are quite cheap - even with shipping.

DorisShutt · 08/01/2014 09:33

Oooh - all these look good; I'm even tempted Grin

Is 37 too old to let my inner geek out?! Wink

Thank you everyone!

I get mine (GOT and Harry Potter are my thing) from Red Bubble and TeeFury, which has a different T shirt every day. I'm thirty nine so don't think you're too old to release your inner geek. ;)

BobaFetaCheese · 08/01/2014 14:43

TeeMagnet list most of the daily sites like Guillotine mentioned.
Far too many Dr Who shirts for my liking atm.

BitchyFestiveFace · 08/01/2014 16:10

I am nearly 35 and ordered one from Redbubble this morning Grin

JennySense · 08/01/2014 16:16

Teefury and Qwertee have the best selection I think but you usually have to look out for the one you want as they do daily tees with just a few favorites available all the time. I've ordered about ten tees from them and not had a problem.

Starballbunny · 08/01/2014 16:26

Redbubble have qwerty back catalogue. Ladies are fitted, but high neck.
But they are expensive and we got done £12 customs on three at Christmas.

zipzap · 08/01/2014 17:44

play.com have got their geek Evolution tshirt range on offer so £6.99 today. Offer finishes at midnight...

Some women's versions - shaped body but can't see the neckline very well. But at that price might be worth a try!

ErrolTheDragon · 08/01/2014 18:05

Love the Sometimes Evolution Sucks one! Grin My DD has an Evolution of windsurfing hoody (café press again). There's too much choice!

DrNick · 08/01/2014 18:33

oh dont they are SO last year

Starballbunny · 08/01/2014 18:43

Nothing wrong with Dr who Tshirts. I'm wearing mine.

perplexedpirate · 08/01/2014 18:54

Marking place. Loving these!
