White shirt - biggish boobs

FaceDirectionOfTravel · 06/01/2014 14:22

I am looking for a white tailored/fitted shirt, long sleeved, normal collar (not round) and that will not gape over my 32F norks! Any suggestions? Do I need to go to Bravissimo?

I have the tailored one with Lycra from Next. I bought a size bigger and it fits over my 34E norks and the bit of stretch makes it comfortable. If your waist is very slim though this may not work for you.

MrsLettuce · 06/01/2014 16:00

Yeah, either bravissimo or get one you like in a size that fits the norkage and have it altered.

Curioustiger · 06/01/2014 16:11

I bought this the other day and it is beautiful on... I am the same size as you OP (boobwise at least).

Thomas pink

Not cheap but I knew it would get tons of wear. It came up big so watch out for that... I bought a size 10 (which with my boobs was a bit of a triumph!)

I also bought a slightly more crisp looking one in blue with the same ruching design... They have it in pink as well.

Curious It is beautiful but SILK?!? Honestly? Aren't you scared of pasta sauce and children's mucky hands? I just want one for every day so will prob stick to cotton. Grin

MrsR Thanks for the Next tip - I might try that.

MrsL Thanks but I don't think I'll bother with something that might need altering, for now - I have another stone of weight to lose and maybe two children to leave home in a mere fifteen years before I invest heavily in any clothing. Grin One day personal tailoring will make sense, I can see a future of that!

There is one in the sale at pepperberry/bravissimo at the moment for £20. It has a slight ruffle down the button band but other than that is classic. I really like it.

HazleNutt · 06/01/2014 19:10

I always find Pepperberry shirts really short on me, and I'm only 5'6. Have a few from this place:

Yeah... My DH said something along the same lines... Grin

32E/F here. Size 6 waist. If you're slim, Vivienne Westwood looks incredible.

That's the one I have...looks a bit rubbish in the photo, looks unreal on.

Bought a great one from John Lewis Collection. £39 and fits my size 10/12 34E shape. Great quality and comfortable. Proper collar and double cuff.

FaceDirectionOfTravel · 12/01/2014 14:52

Thanks all - am thinking I might go for the John Lewis one. Flowers
