Not over 10 for each. I've been using a maybelline one, it's pink and I think it's the "falsies" one...very good, IMO

Bourjois healthy mix foundation. I like Max Factor mascaras.

BunnyLebowski · 06/01/2014 19:52

Max Factor 2000 Calories mascara. I use this over the high end brands. It kicks their arse.

No 7 Instant Radiance foundation or the Bourjois one Leviticus has mentioned.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 06/01/2014 19:55

Soap and Glory for foundation - but it is £11.
Max Factor for mascara.

Oblomov · 06/01/2014 20:07

Marking place!

wonkylegs · 06/01/2014 20:19

I like Barbara Daly - Tesco waterproof mascara
I use expensive foundation (Bobbi brown) but I do like Barbara Daly face lift to give a lift when I don't want full make up.

Thecircle · 06/01/2014 20:24

I use the maybelline cat eyes mascara, best one I've tried by far. Including more expensive ones.

matilda101 · 06/01/2014 20:26

Max factor 2000 calorie mascara, love it, it beats any other mascara I've used! I also use max factor foundation.

lurkingaround · 06/01/2014 20:48

Foundation: can't find a good cheapie
Mascara: any cheapie seems as good as the expensive ones. I tend to go back to the pink and green maybelline one. Currently using YSL navy Baby doll (pressie). Like the colour, meh same as all of them, performance.

BB01 · 13/01/2014 15:04

Max Factor Masterpiece Max mascara is best I've tried

ParsleyTheLioness · 13/01/2014 15:15

Another fan of 2000 calorie mascara, and Bourjois 123 Perfect foundation

squoosh · 13/01/2014 15:25

Another vote for Max Factor Masterpiece Max, love it! Beats any of the expensive ones.

I'm pale so don't buy cheap foundations as they don't cater for the very pale or the very dark.

TessTackle · 13/01/2014 15:27

L'oreal nude magique eau de feint foundation; so light and great coverage 9.99

Bourgois volume glamour ultra care mascara; non clumping, actually nourishes lashes 8.99

CrispyCrochet · 13/01/2014 15:32

I think Max Factor mascara is a hands down winner. I went through a period of several years buying hugely expensive mascaras to try & find the best one & I agree that MF is the best & I find myself coming back to it time & time again (I sometimes get conned into a new one from a different make!)

Olivegirl · 13/01/2014 16:03

Maybelline rocket mascara £7.99 ish

Cheesymonster · 13/01/2014 17:33

I like loreal nude magique foundation and rimmel lash accelerator mascara. I also like botanical bb cream.

ProfondoRosso · 13/01/2014 17:38

I like Maybelline Great Lash mascara and their BB Cream.

Vintagebeads · 13/01/2014 18:19

I second the Bourjois healthy mix foundation,I have fair, dry skin and it makes it feel lovely and bright. Its like the Clinque dewy skin one, which I like.

1000 Calories by Max Factor,I am using Lancome at the moment but I like the max factor alot as a budget one.

CecyHall · 13/01/2014 18:26

I really love Barry M mascaras. I haven't tried one that I didn't like but I think my favourite is Lash Modelling Extra Black. About £6 each, don't dry out and make my lashes look great.

Havingagoodny · 13/01/2014 19:27

Max Factor 2000 calorie mascara and maybelline Matt mousse foundation which is amazing and feels gorgeous

LaTrucha · 13/01/2014 19:32

Can anyone tell me if the Max Factor ordinary mascara is better than the waterproof one? I bought the waterproof one and it is the smudgiest thing I have ever had. I don't know if it is worth me trying the ordinary one?

Jaffacakesallround · 13/01/2014 19:39

I liked Maybeline The Falsies- purple tube.

bluebump · 13/01/2014 22:42

Max Factor 2000 calorie mascara for me too.

I am trying the Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation which I'm impressed with for the price.

mcgilly · 14/01/2014 07:12

Maybelline Full n softl mascara. Max factor foundations sre wonderful. Also Cover Girl. Most things in these three brands are excellent. .

Ohwhatfuckeryisthis · 14/01/2014 07:19

Watching with interest as I need a new foundation. Been using boots 7 (did the match thing) but want more coverage. Avoid benefit bad girl. Can't tell I'm wearing it.
