what is eyebrow threading?

stitch · 24/07/2006 21:58

everthing hurt s the first time it is done.
i remember as a teenager, my sister getting really big sisteryly and forcing me to keep still whilst she threaded my tache. i had tear s going down my face from the pain. now, a few decades on, and i cna hold conversations whilst doing the threading myself.

Oh thanks for the explanation AM. Don't think I'll be trying that one

I had it done for the first time a couple of weeks ago, it did hurt more to be honest and my skin was all red around the area for a good few hours , but it seems to made the re growth a lot slower on my eye brows.

it's worse than a wax for me - I had to hold the skin around my eyebrow taut for the lady and I had tears in my eyes - would never do it again!

Yes, just to add another voice to the crowd - like lots of quick plucking at once. Not unbearable, but not too pleasant. Didn't seem to last significantly longer either.
