what is the correct way to measure yourself for a bra. I'm fed up at trying on bras in the shop and then when I wear them for any length of time I discover that they don't actually fit at all.

But will that mean I can only get a bra in M+S? Do all companys make them the same size.

I can go from a size 10 to a 14 in a matter of two shops.

I don't like m&s any more since being fitted in a small bra shop I have understood exactly how they should fit.

you measure under your boobs. and then across the fullest part of your boobs. for example: under boobs 32" on boobs 37". then for each extra inch difference between the two you add a cup size. so. that would be a 32dd. 1 inch=a 2 inches=b 3 inches=c 4 inches=d 5 inches=dd.
i hope that doesnt sound too confusing.

they'll do it here for you

Even M&S bras can vary from style to style, a good assistant will get a selection to see what suits you best, and yes they will vary shop to shop, but if you get the right measured size then at least it gives you somewhere to start.

i think its just a case of trying loads on in different sizes in each shop. sometimes i'll fit a 32dd sometimes a 34d and sometimes a 34dd. depends what make bra. its a bit like trying to get a pair of jeans that fit well!
