I have so many pairs (that aren't quite right!) in my wardrobe that it's pitiful! I have tried...

New look
Next
Gap
Uniqlo
Red Herring
Dorothy Perkins
Tu/George/Tesco
Primark
H&M

My favourite ones are great skinnies from M&S-I have two pairs that are stunning and still fit brilliantly but have been knackered by clawy kittens so don't look great now! They have also been discontinued so I can't replace them-grrrrr!

I am a size 12 and don't like v low or v high rise (9 inches is just right!) and have v skinny legs! That's the main problem I have with all my unworn pairs-they are too big round the calf or go baggy on the knee within the hour.

Please tell me I will find another pair! I am so cross that I found some brilliant ones then they go and stop making them!

I also have very thin legs and I love the topshop Leigh, they are super skinny and also a lovely soft fabric they are about £40, I also wear the new look super Skinnys (must be the super Skinnys) they are £20

blackandwhiteandredallover · 03/01/2014 19:35

I like Gap legging jeans, as well as good old Baxters from Topshop.

I remember reading good things about the Cherry jeans from Oasis too..?

dexter73 · 03/01/2014 19:39

Levis for me, always.

fedup21 · 03/01/2014 19:40

Ooh, that's a few to try, thank you! I have Top Shop Jamie-are the Leigh different?

I'm a 10-12 with skinny legs and Oasis Jade super-skinny are my favourites. Oasis Cherry are good too but more of a straight-leg jean than skinny.

southeastastra · 03/01/2014 19:43

i think you have to find your 'brand' jeans the fit really well all the time.

mine are Zara and i have about 1000 pairs from there, sale on too atm.

Flukewoman · 03/01/2014 19:44

Fed up I have three pairs of the M&S indigo jeggings, which I adore. Are they the same you have? I was gutted when they were discontinued but DM found out that they have a few pairs left online and bought me another pair. Not my ideal colour but I may dye them.

They have lasted so well. Can't believe they are discontinued - but then M&S doesn't believe in its 20-something market does it!

New look Supersoft Skinny Jeans are good, I have an Olive-y pair and they're really comfy.

here

Catswiththumbs · 03/01/2014 19:57

I was going to say Topshop Jamie jeans. They are meant to be high waist, but on my body shape they aren't. I don't even look at other jeans. just have Jamie in every colour
Topshop Baxter- too low, baggy on the ankles
Topshop Leigh- too thin
new look- not denim enough
River island- too low
Zara- too low

haven't tried anywhere else tbh

plentyofsoap · 03/01/2014 19:57

Found some by chance in Dorothy perkins. They are high waisted Indigo jeans and were reduced from 28 to about 17. Although I am not that short I have quite short legs so grest in that I could order the length.
They have not gone baggy either.

PiperChapman · 03/01/2014 20:00

Kin by John lewis. Amazing!

nipersvest · 03/01/2014 20:01

i am a recent levi convert, slight curve slim leg fit like a glove. was lucky enough to find some half price so i bought 2 pairs Blush

fedup21 · 03/01/2014 20:03

They weren't the M&S jeggings though I bought two paid of those before I realised they went baggy on my knees! I think I have very pointy knees!

I will go and try some Top Shop ones on tomorrow-are the Leigh ones super skinny for v. skinny legs and don't sag on the knee? (Asks hopefully!)

Top shop Leigh are brill! I have no hips and skinny calves and athletic things and they are the best fit on me.

Flukewoman · 03/01/2014 20:26

Ah! I sized down in the M&S ones and the result was no baggy knees!

fedup21 · 03/01/2014 20:29

I did, too-I sized down to a 10 in the M&S jeggings-still had baggy knees!! Boo!

Oasis Jade super skinny are a perfect fit round the waist, not too low rise or high rise.

Plumpysoft · 03/01/2014 22:42

Primark skinny high waisted

Mintymoomoo · 03/01/2014 22:58

OP yes topshop leigh are different to Jamie, for me I prefer the leigh

AllOverIt · 03/01/2014 23:02

Which Top Shop skinnies are good for curvy figures? I have small waist, large arse and thighs.

Beaverfeaver · 03/01/2014 23:53

I got some great ones from fat face in the sale

namechange74 · 03/01/2014 23:57

AllOver try Baxters from TS

fedup21 · 04/01/2014 12:12

I hadn't thought of Fat Face; I have loads of tops and dresses from there but no bottoms!

Would their skinny jeans be tight on little legs, do you think? Do they not go baggy on the knees?

OP posts:
MadBusLady · 04/01/2014 14:26

Another Oasis fan here! I have tree trunk legs though so the Cherry are like skinnies on me. I have one pair of the Jade but can only wear them with long tops to avoid parsnipage.

fedup21 · 04/01/2014 14:36

What are the Jade ones like, madbuslady? High/low rise? Soft/stiff? Very tight?
