Washing acrylic topshop sweater

Boring but....I bought a lovely orange sweater from topshop, have washed it carefully but it could now fit 2 people in it! Anybody any ideas for returning it to it's previous width? I can't bin it, I love it too much! Thanks

How did you dry it? If it was hanging up that may have stretched it. Wet it again and trying drying it flat.

What do the wash instructions say?

Odd
Acrylic jumpers are usually fine, (cotton ones can be weird both shrinking and growing).

I've deliberately tightened cotton jumpers of mine by washing at 60°C so they fit DD1, but I doubt it would help an acrylic one.

I fear that a hot wash will simply make an acrylic one worse, especially if it's a loose or fancy knit.

Top shop acrylic. ..bad washes every time. I don't even buy jumpers there anymore despite the really beautiful designs because of this very reason :(

I dried it flat and tried squashing it up at the sides. Only put it on the hand wash cycle in the machine too. It's just gone sooo saggy!

I love Topshop but refuse to buy any knitwear from there anymore.

Even the staff say its crap! Return it.
