No, not excessively! Someone told me that taking painkillers beforehand really helped her but I find it's fine without. Worth it for the tidier for longer look!

It's quick so manageable. Worse at certain times of the month though.
Exfoliate to help prevent ingrown hairs (the bane of the waxer).
