Ouch my thumb and acrylic nails!

I banged my thumb really hard two days ago, I have acrylic nails on and my whole thumb feels really hot and is throbbing.

I can't get the nail off because I don't have any acetone but it bloody hurts. Im worried my whole nail is going to come off.

I don't know if it's just really badly bruised or what? But is there something I can do in the meantime to stop it hurting so much?

Yes but not as much as this one hurts , it's got a pulse!

Potentially cracked your nail bed underneath?

I think I'd soak it in a mild tcp or dettol solution as a temporary measure until you can get to a salon.
