Spots after Elemis facial :(

Had a facial less than 48 hours ago (only my 2nd ever). I'm fine with Elemis products, but now I've broken out in unusual places on my face with whiteheads. Plus the blackheads are still there. It's the wrong time of my cycle to be so spotty.

Not sure if this is normal or not? Was it just a crap facial?

I don't know technical term for it but its common enough that beauticians recommend against having one in days before important events ... i think its something to do with toxins coming out of skin its still detoxing (i'm sure there's a better technical way of describing)

give it a day or two and it will probably look fine, as shabbie says its the crap coming out, keep up a cleanse and wash routine and twill settle down. If not, give them a ring.

Okay, thanks - glad it's not just my face being strange!

On my first attempt at the Oil Cleansing Method, I had a massive breakout. Ditto my first time at the Russian banya.

Keep drinking lots of water and steaming your skin, or whatever, and hopefully all the crap will come out!

I tried the blue Nivea pot and tried a bit on my face after it seemed quite dry.

Cue massive breakout!

I just think my face hates new things!
