What footwear with this dress?

I've just got this dress and I need something to go with it. I'm thinking boots but I can't wear a high heel, I could probably get away with a small block heel. I ideally want leather so I can wear it in this miserable rain! Any suggestions please?

I bought this dress too and love it with grey opaque tights and brown ankle boots! Love the dress so much might buy the blue one too....
