So far I have tried:-

Johnsons ~ (a bit wishy washy)

Dove ~ nice colour but goes patchy after a few days

L'oreal nutrishimmer ~ really like this but went streaky on my legs.

Piz Buin ~ just about to try this. Got it as it was £4 and it's normally £8. Will let you know how I get on

Oh and I also tried Ambre Solaire light spray. I felt it was a bit orangy!

Am I addicted ?

Erm yes

How are you by the way ?, long time no speak.

Blossomhill · 23/07/2006 15:33

I am fine thanks babes How about you?
We must speak soon but with BB being on I normally log off about 9 now!

I am now kicking myself as I wish I had bought the L'oreal sublime tinted gel

Your obsessed woman.

I am quite good thanks, everything going ok here for a change.
Haven't been on msn as much cos bloody computer tends to freeze as soon as i start talking to someone.

me23 · 23/07/2006 15:44

Hey seeing as you're obseessed you might be interested in this I have the simple one only been using ot a few days it's ok very subtle. will be intersted to know how you get on with your new one.

Blossomhill · 25/07/2006 21:42

Really like the Piz Buin one.

can I give one huge tip for legs? Get your mum/partner etc to do it.
My mum did mine and they look really good, natural.

i've got the nivea one,,, smells nice, easy to use and not orange looking

No5 · 25/07/2006 21:59

i tired puiz buin, and l oreal ines, they all smell. tbh, im very sensitive about any smell. went seaside couple times and also been camping and have natural tan now

kittywits · 25/07/2006 22:26

Which one is the best then ?

charliecat · 25/07/2006 22:29

Charlie - I'd let you have them but I have used them all up

incy · 26/07/2006 14:25

For body I like the Olay one and the L'oreal nutrishimmer (both body moisturisers with a hint of self tan). For face I like the clarins one for more colour or the olay one (not as full on if you want a hint of colour for face)

Blossomhill · 26/07/2006 14:27

Incy - I agree the nutrishimmer one is so natural looking.
Didn't know the olay one was any good. Should have bought some as it's only £2.99 in Superdrug!

OP posts:
incy · 26/07/2006 14:33

Yes I think Olay is natural looking good for winter when less full on needed - mind you, lots of people think Johnsons and Dove are fab but they look a bit orange on me so perhaps different brands suit different skin tones....

Blossomhill · 26/07/2006 14:55

I am having to hide them from dh and he would hit the roof if he knew how many I had been buying

OP posts:
expatinscotland · 26/07/2006 15:15

i gave up on them. everyone i tried left orange streaks.

i'm pale and interesting these days.

Blossomhill · 26/07/2006 15:25

I refuse to be pale expat and it's too hot to sit out in it!

Remember the BH mantra tanning mitt, tanning mitt, tanning mitt

The L'Oreal sublime gel is fab - have been using it for a couple of weeks and I haven't noticed it going patchy at all. My sis recommended it after she said my legs had blinded her by their whiteness! And it doesn't have that horrible "beefy" smell either!

Blossomhill · 26/07/2006 16:38

Kando ~ now look what you have done? I had that gel in my hands the same time as the Piz Buin. I just can't buy another fake tan

Is it really dark though?

OP posts:
kando · 26/07/2006 16:54

No, I've got the darker of the two shades but it looks really natural (and my legs were WHITE!) And you can see where you are putting it because the gel is coloured too.

No5 · 26/07/2006 21:36

will try clarins one
