Suit equivalent. Smart skirt/trousers, shirt and jacket.

Always better to go smarter than more casual if you're not sure.

I wore tailored trousers and a smart jersey top to a similar interview (finance assistant) a few weeks ago. I got the job so it must have been OK.

I have worked in a different sector for the past decade and found that office dress seems to be a lot less formal than back then. It might be worth finding out what people wear in that particular workplace and then aiming for slightly smarter. I would have felt over dressed in a suit as the two people interviewing me were wearing a jersey dress and a jumper and skirt.

Good Luck!

Tailored trousers and a smart shirt/blouse is my go to outfit. Depending on time of year I may wear a contrasting blazer too. On my feet I wear either flat ballerinas or smart ankle boots, again depending on time of year. This is generally what I wear to work most days anyway but my interview look is a bit more polished!

Most places have a business casual dress code these days so I would go with that.
