I just want something really simple really, not a wedding dress but something more than just a summer dress, have not had much luck finding one though.

I have got a year but I just wondered if anyone knew any good places to look - have been to Debenhams, House of Fraser etc.

I really want a ivory colour and perhaps knee length.

Hope you stylish ladies can help.

back to the actual dress...

you need Monsoon - they have five knee-length dresses and a skirt and bodice in their bridal collection, a very pretty ivory evening dress too.
Unfortunately the last one is the only one that comes in on budget, but once you know the name of the dress you want you may find it on ebay.

crazydazy · 25/07/2006 18:28

Awwww they are lovely Mrs Badger, I really like that one for £200, but I think that might be out of my budget really.

Am trying to keep under £100 if at all possible thats why I thought I'd better go for a dress as opposed to an actual wedding dress.

get thee to ebay - there's always someone hawking this season's Monsoon stuff.

If you happen to be a 10 have a look at this - worth it so you can try all three, pick the best one and sell the others?

JackieNo · 25/07/2006 18:39

How about this one from Laura Ashley? Not knee length, though.

JackieNo · 25/07/2006 18:47

Or this one from Debenhams (£70 in the sale)

crazydazy · 25/07/2006 18:52

Afraid I am 12 but probably 14 in a tight fitting dress.

This looks quite cool for the beach.
Some very cheap dresses at DP's!! I like the cream prom dress for £20.

JennT · 25/07/2006 19:42

I bought my wedding dress in Phase8 for about £130. It was full length, but they did the same dress as knee length. This was last year though...

crazydazy · 26/07/2006 11:56

I like that one Bubblerock, will have to go and try that one on - thanks
