Me&Em cowl neck ruched dress

Hello, I am new to MN but hoping to get some advice about the fit of the Me&Em ruched dress as I really love the look of it (well it does look fab on the model) BUT I am 6 ft 1 and a size 16-18 with a bit of a tummy and hips, and whilst the dress comes in this size I wonder whether it may be a bit too clingy for those of us not blessed with a slim, toned body and would therefore be likely to emphasise the bad bits. Any advice would be more than welcome, thank you very much. X

I ordered one a while ago and it looked horrible on me(Am 12-14 with a tummy).I think without the disproportionately large tummy it would have looked fine though.

Thank you, Teta. That is what I was afraid of. If you felt it looked horrible on you and you are only a 12-14 I reckon I wouldn't stand much of a chance looking good in it. I have ordered a couple of consolation dresses mind-the faux wrap dress and the trapeze dress-such good prices in the sale and those two are much more the sort of shape I am used to, the ruched dress would have been totally out of my comfort zone really, i just felt like something a bit different for me.
