If you had £150 to spend on a bag which can be used as a changing bag....?

What would you buy?

Criteria: needs a zip top closure and a shoulder strap. Pref not black.

Doesn't need to be an official changing bag, just big enough for newborn and toddler shit.

I have been looking at this one but want to consider other options.

Dont get a changing bag as you will outgrow it. Just get an normal BIG bag

I have the Sugarjack Oliver, I didn't pay full price for it but can't believe how low the price has been reduced.

Eustacia I was looking for inspiration for large bags which can be used as changing bags for that very reason The Sugarjack ones have a removable insert so they turn into just a normal bag. missmargot what was the quality like?

Currently lost on the George Gina Lucy website! Some great bags, but not sure if they are really me

I have a storksak and have been known to remove the changing mat so it becomes a very roomy handbag with isotherm pockets to keep drinks cool!

Don't get a changing bag - they're not worth it for the short amount of time you need one. Treat yourself to a lovely bag instead TK Maxx have some great bargains in top brands.
If I had to recommend one I'd say PacaPod. Their leather ones are gorgeous.

I have the Gabi (in the burnt orange) fab bag and one I will use when sc3 out of nappies. There is as already mentioned a remove able insert but I like extra pockets to keep things tidy! The Hannah is also lovely very mulberry Akexa-ish. The Oliver is a cross body bag in the sale at £75? For a leather bag is super value!

The Gabi doesn't have zip top Claure which I was worried about bu even when rammed full mine has never 'popped open'

Thanks. When I looked at the pic carrie I thought the Gabi did have a zip top then flapped over, but looking again I can see it haasn;t. Doesn't put me off tho!

Our local TK Maxx didn't have anything nice in when I looked, but have just realised they are online now (D'oh emoticon), or maybe they always were!

I'd spend less than £20 on a changing bag and put the rest in an account for when the baby wants driving lessons, or, if you prefer, then buy yourself a nice handbag. there is no way in a million years I would spend that kind of money on a changing bag.

I AM looking for a nice handbag which can be used as a changing bag! And I'm using my Christmas and birthday money to buy it. I used the Boots free changing bag last time, but it has died now so wanted to treat myself to a decent bag which I can use for years, which can also be used as a changing bag in the short term. Sorry I didn't make that clear!

I have a huge Mia tui one for Christmas but not very keen on non leather bags so looking to take back & find something else.

I find that any of the handbag/changing bags aren't as nice as a handbag I'd buy. Love some of the modalu ones but no shoulder strap.

Not that keen on any of those bags you linked to first but its probably just a different taste thing.

I had a lovely changing bag from next when DD was in nappies, was sectioned and included a wet things pouch and changing mat; it looked so nice and big handbag like I used it for a year or so after I needed one.
Was about £50.

My friend has a Superjack and it's gorgeous and it doesn't look like a changing bag.
have you looked at the Lin and Leo bags, I was tempted by one of those but ended up with an oral kiely that often gets commented on. Now on second use and still looks good.

Thanks all. I see your point MrsDV but where I live you wouldn't leave ANY bag hanging unattended on the back of a pram, not even an ancient carrier bag packed with used nappies I tend to use the cross body strap when out and about with a pram.
