Good beauty habit advice? Want to change in 2014

I have decided that I really want to change in 2014. Need to lose weight but I also want to tone up but in a feminine way. Can't do Shred as worried about knees.

Would be very grateful of any tips that you have found work for you in regards to grooming/skincare/weight loss/exercise etc...

I am going to start Facercise and Callanetics today along with 4:3 and doing a 20 minute fast walk. I really want to make some improvements during 2014.

Has anyone got results from Callanetics? I remember doing classes and the video back in the early 90s and it didn't seem that good?

Sorry that it's me again but yes I've had fantastic results from callanetics. I haven't done it for a few years but when I did it I had an arse and legs to die for. I just did it yesterday for the first time in years and I can't wait to get that figure back. My body is so sore today!

I've never managed to complete the 10 hours in one block (I have the Ten years younger in ten hours DVD) but I've definitely felt myself tone up a bit while doing Callanetics too. I'm planning to restart once I've got my other exercise habits sorted. I have to say though, I've had far quicker results from the seven minute workout - today I noticed that my upper arms are definitely less wobbly and muscle is harder when I tense it, I've only been doing that for 16 days. So hopefully the two together will make me super toned Grin

Just looked at the 7 minute link and it sounds ace. I bet those 7 minutes feel like 7 hours! I may well give that a go - seems silly not to given the science behind it.

oops sorry for double post

madmomma it's not too bad as only 30 seconds per exercise so it goes quite quickly, I find that by the time I've started to think I can't do it anymore it's time to rest anyway, good luck if you do try it :)
