Boots to wear with skinny jeans for a night out?

I always wear DM wedges, Rocket Dogs, Fly London boots or similar but would like something else for nights out for dinner/drinks with a bit of a heel. I'm 5 2 and a size 12-decent legs but unused to wearing heels and have no idea what works or isn't wildly unfashionable!

What's the way to go here-tall boots with spiky heels? Ankle boots with wedges? I would like to go for the 'she looks quite nice' look rather than 'she looks a bit like a street walker' one!!

The Clarks ones were a bit scary (sorry)! but I rather like those Dune ones and the ankle boots. Do skinny jeans tuck into ankle boots!?

What about a pair of heeled shoe boots, or ones with a very low ankle?
