Babyliss Big Hair (yes, I know, again). Are any of the knock-offs good?

Intensive reading of you lot informs me that BBH is the answer to my hair.

Boots have them for 40 quid and I have a 10% off voucher which seems like a decent price. But there are other cheaper alternatives that seem to do the same job - are they any good?

Also I can only find the 50mm barrel in Boots - with short hair would I be better off with the 42mm?

Thanks for bearing with me on yet another BBH thread.

I buy all electrical goods from Argos add I can take then back easily if I don't get on with them.

Argos won't take back BBH - I noticed when I checked the price on there.

Depends why you take it back Wink

I have just bought the 42mm one for £28 in Asda.

I've got a bob and I've just bought a 42mm one and it's better than the bigger one ( which I had til it blew up!). Do you have any a Tesco vouchers? I doubled mine up and got my new one for vouchers plus 50p of actual money, which was great!

MrsVaughnRice · 23/12/2013 23:35

Ooh, Asda you say.... That's a bloody good price, but can I wangle my way out of spud-peeling long enough to spring to Clapham Junction (which might not have it on stock anyway)

Thanks anyway.

No, no Tesco vouchers - I've got Nectar points but no large Sainsbos - they might do a click and collect I guess.
