I need thickety-thick leggings that don't:
Go into crotch holes
Attract A World of Fluff
Look too transparent
Look like leggings and make my bum look...

One of my absolute bugbears is people wearing thin underwear leggings with short tops so you can see their pants through them. Do they not own mirrors or just not care?

Anyway, I've heard good things about uniqlo trouser leggings and the Next ones (I think it's the ponte ones you're after).

GoodnessKnows · 21/12/2013 07:38

Ponte from Next?

The ponte ones from next are super thick. My DD1 (16) has them in every colour. here

FourLittleDudes · 21/12/2013 07:47

I got some from H&M the other day that are thick and don't seem to stretch to much. They were £7ish I think.

SELondonSwede · 21/12/2013 07:58

Uniqlo do great "treggings". Hate that word but they are great

GoodnessKnows · 21/12/2013 08:52

Treggings. Now I DO feel old. Lol. I'm imagining a front pleat. Ha ha
Seriously, will look.

Eden soft jeggings. From Dorothy Perkins should fit the bill, and reasonably priced.

GoodnessKnows · 21/12/2013 09:46

Great. Going near there this morning!

Zara basics.
Ace. Wash v well, dont stretch and have some nice stitch detailing too.

I have the next ones and they are great. Really thick and cosy.

But they do still look like leggings not trousers, so not sure if that is what you want. I only wear them with tunics or long jumpers, but that might just be me.

GoodnessKnows · 21/12/2013 15:33

Sitting in my Next Pontes (not panties) - with underwear on, obviously. Lol
Very comfy. Thank you for the tips.

I like the Aminah smart jeggings from Phase Eight.

MakeMeJumpIntoTheAir · 21/12/2013 22:59

after seeing this thread, i got some of the still new ones from marks & spencers, and AND, they were 30% off, so that S&B queens! cost me £6.60 Grin If you hurry, they are still discounted until midnight online, I think, as is everything in store. Seen some really nice dresses but daren't spend any more money!

MakeMeJumpIntoTheAir · 21/12/2013 23:00

that should say 'so thanks for that S&B queens!'

doh

GoodnessKnows · 22/12/2013 06:06

I've tried Leggings from loads of different shops and think Mint Velvet are the best by far! Really thick and last for ages.

GoodnessKnows · 23/12/2013 08:57

I'll have a look. Where can I get them? John Lewis?
