Sainsburys have nice ones, not supermarket clothes-looking at at all, £40.

Collectif-an online shop. They have a few lovely capes in both long and short versions.

If you mean the woolly type ones, Wallis have loads in

Sainsbury's have a 50% off clothing sale and plenty of capes.

I knew you girls would come up trumps. Dd2 and I were in town the other day and she called me a "frump" (I do suffer from depression and have let myself go alot) she bought me an outfit and did my nails to cheer me up Grin Whilst we were in she showed me the kind of thing she would like to see me wear rather than the things I hide behind. I saw these 2 women wearing capes and loved the look. One was black and the other was navy and looked very stylish

I saw a woman in a fantastic red one today, but she disappeared before I could ask her where it was from. American Apparel often do a gorgeous one, but it is v expensive.

what kind of capes were the ones you saw? Were they knitted/more of a coat material? I saw someone wearing a cape with a faux fur trim which looked quite amazing (and I didn't think I liked capes).

MrsSJG · 21/12/2013 15:37

they were wool from what I could tell, not the drapey sort, the black one had a belt around the middle and was buttoned up, no hood or fur. the navy one had brown trim around the arm holes and again was belted
