Comptoir des Cotonniers sizing...and should I get this coat?

This one. I've wanted a red coat for ages and this looks lovely, but am a bit wary of ordering a coat without trying. Their size guide is very unhelpful - does anyone know if their stuff generally comes up large/small/true to size?

Also, if anyone's seen anything similar they'd like to recommend, I'm all ears Grin

I bought a CdC coat this year this one. I am generally a 10/12 on top and 12/14 on hips. The coat is size 38. It's a neat fit on me, I mostly wear it to work so generally a shirt/dress and cardi/light sweater underneath. If I wore bulky jumpers a lot I would probably go up a size. HTH.

Thanks libertychick, that does help :)

It's beautiful

I bought a CDC coat a few years ago. I am a size 8/10 and got a 38 which was perfect. The 36 would have been a bit on the small side e.g. lifting arms up

Thanks em. I've ordered my usual size, so hopefully it won't be too big but I'll be able to fit a warm jumper under it. Can always exchange for the size down!
