Desperately need new trousers... no bottom, slightly flabby tummy

And skirts though that's not quite as desperate...
I lost quite a bit of weight and everything is hanging off me, I'm now a size 10 on the bottom (12 on top though sometimes 10 if it's stretchy or 14 if it's fitted.

I have a fairly flat bottom (like old ladies when they lose all the muscle) and still quite a bit of flab or loose skin on my tummy.

I wouldn't mind a pair with pockets on the bottom, 1940s style.

I'm 5 ft 3 with short legs (body not that short - I do better in "short" than "petite".

I'm also an annoying fibre snob and really don't like the polyester and rayon mix that seems to be the only option in a lot of shops - I went round Next the other week and it was all bullet-proof shiny stuff. Sorry to be annoying!

I got a few new pairs of jeans recently but I'm completely out of work stuff, just put two more pairs in the charity pile!

I have exactly the same problem as you, no bum and most trousers form a flap at the back instead of creating a bum shape, very unflattering.
GAP trouser/jeans generally fit quite well I find. I'm currently wearing Boden jeans ( charity shop, as are most of my clothes) and they are a vile fit. I think they are made for horsey gals with big bones and lithe long limbs.
If you need trousers to go up your crack a bit more ( to give the illusion of bum cheeks) try the French, or Italian, whatever brands as there clothes tend to be more figure hugging.

I have a few Boden ones that work, but I know exactly what you mean about an unflattering flap!

I have had Gap before and they've been OK, I'm not completely sure what style to look for though but I'll have a browse.
